Recovering with D13

by on May.19, 2011, under Horror Show Hosts

Motor City Comic Con was huge and we’re still recovering. So we’re going to put the hearse on cruise control and just enjoy some TV…

Saturday at 10 pm EST on RTV: Confused? It’s not you. It’s “Dementia 13.”

This 1963 Psycho-wanna-be is loaded with senseless killing and a plot that makes even less sense. It’s hard to believe that Francis Ford Coppola directed this movie, but easy to believe Roger Corman produced it.

Saturday at 8 pm on WISE-TV, My TV Ft. Wayne: They don’t get much worse than, “Teenage Zombies.”

A group of nosy teens discover the laboratory of a sexy mad scientist who plans to turn everyone into a “zombie”. If that sounds insane, wait until the fight scene with the gorilla. It’s no wonder why this film makes so many Worst-Films-Ever-Made lists.

Saturday at 1 am on Ft. Myers’ My TV 8: Stay up late with Chiller Drive-In! Tune in this week for “Dementia 13.”

Saturday at 11 pm on SE Michigan U-Verse on Channel 99 (Addison feed): Barbara Steele stars in “The Ghost.”

Horror peep show? When a woman and her lover murder her invalid husband, they dream of taking his fortune and living happily ever after. But when strange things begin to happen, they suspect that the dead man’s ghost has returned to take revenge on them!

It’s not too early to make plans for the next Attack of The Killer B’s at the Main Art Theater in Royal Oak. Join the cast and crew of Chiller Drive-in on June 2nd at 7pm for Bela Lugosi in “The Devil Bat.”

There will be shorts and all sorts of retro goodness. Don’t forget your snarky comments and laser pointers! Thursday, May 5th at 7pm. $9 Adults, $7 Students, $5 Kids | 118 Main Street, Royal Oak | (248) 263-2111.
